About Nicole Victoria Lauren

Ok, the “About” part

As an independent music artist and composer, Nicole Victoria Lauren creates cinematic music that serves as a bridge between the tangible world and the deep, often unspoken emotions of the heart. Her work is defined by atmospheric music and rich, immersive cinematic soundscapes that prioritize the weight of a story over the flicker of a trend. By centering her creative process on storytelling in music, she invites listeners into a space where reflective music becomes a tool for navigation, helping them find resonance in both the quiet stillness and the gathering storms of life.

Current Projects: In the Works

I often share “work-in-progress” moments in my Listening Room, where you can hear the raw drafts before they are fully formed. There is a certain vulnerability in sharing something unfinished, but I believe that’s where the most genuine human connection happens.

Thank you for being here. Truly. Whether you’re here to listen to the latest music, explore the Listening Room, or just read through some lyrics, you are invited and welcome.

Let’s Connect

I’d love to hear from you. If a particular song resonated with you, or if you just want to say hi and share what’s on your mind, feel free to drop me a note through the contact form on the About Me page. I’m also open to questions, disagreements, and shared stories. There’s no pressure here: just an open door.

For Music Supervisors & Sync

My work is self-owned through Prima Voca and I am a member of ASCAP (Writer IPI: 1327325271), which ensures a straightforward and transparent licensing process. I don’t believe in gatekeeping; I believe in community. If my music can help tell your story, I would be honored to collaborate.

If you are a filmmaker, content creator, or storyteller, I want you to know that I see you as a fellow traveler. Much of my music is created with a cinematic lens, keeping licensability and visual storytelling in mind.

I love the idea of my music becoming a part of your story. Whether you need the high-energy, positive vibe of “Dunkman” for a dynamic sequence or the moody, atmospheric depth of a cinematic soundscape to ground a heavy scene, my catalog is open to you.

What is Prima Voca? (The “First Voice”)

When I’m creating, I try to find my way back to what I call the “first voice.”

In a world that is constantly telling us how we should sound, what’s trending on social media, or what the “algorithm” wants, the first voice is the one that exists before all that noise. It’s the intuitive, gut-level spark that happens before comparison or doubt creeps in. It’s the voice that feels true, even if it doesn’t fit neatly into a genre box.

For me, Prima Voca is my compass. It’s what leads me to create music that ranges from immersive, storm-like cinematic pieces to quiet, reflective tracks. Whether I’m using traditional instruments or experimenting with modern tools, the goal is always the same: to stay sincere. I believe that when we create from that first-voice place, we create music that has the potential for longevity and real meaning, rather than just chasing a temporary trend.

Intentional Living: A Closing Thought

I’ve come to realize that the way we listen to music is often a mirror for how we navigate our daily lives. Do we rush through the tracks, looking for the next “hit,” or do we sit with a melody and let it breathe?

My hope is that my music encourages a bit of the latter. Life is a mix of tension and hope, and I want my songs to hold space for both. Thank you for walking a part of this journey with me. Disagreements, questions, and shared stories are always welcome here; there’s always room for one more at the table.

Stay intentional,

Nicole Victoria Lauren
