Creating cinematic soundscapes and atmospheric music is often a journey into the deepest parts of the human experience. As an independent music artist, I find that the most authentic music comes from asking the hard questions that keep us up at night. My newest project, a song currently in its demo phase titled “All of Your Dreams (I Hope You See),” explores the delicate art of storytelling in music by facing a central, heavy question: how do we tell the truth about how difficult the world can be without stealing a child’s hope? This reflective music is born from a desire to be a guardian rather than a cynic, offering a melodic hand on the shoulder for anyone stepping out into the unknown.

The Choice of Guardianship
“All of Your Dreams” is what I’m calling a “first pass” analysis: a raw, vulnerable demo that is still finding its final shape. It’s a deeply protective song, told from the perspective of someone who has lived long enough to see the cracks in the world, the “enduring storms,” and the moments where things just don’t go as planned. It would be easy to let that experience turn into bitterness or a “head in the clouds” denial of reality. But instead, this song chooses guardianship.
I’ve often felt that as we get older, we carry a quiet burden: the knowledge of how complicated life is. We see the next generation moving with such beautiful curiosity and optimism, and we want to protect that wonder at all costs. But protection doesn’t mean lying. It means holding two competing truths at the same time: the world can be difficult, AND the next generation deserves wonder anyway.
A Universal Blessing
While the song might sound like a traditional parent-child lullaby on the surface, I feel it is something much broader. It’s a universal blessing offered from one generation to another. It’s the feeling of a mentor looking at a student, or an elder looking at a community, and saying, “I know what’s out there, and I’m still rooting for you.”
This song is a hand resting gently on someone’s shoulder before they step into the world. It’s not a push; it’s a steadying presence. In my exploration of themes within my music, I always find myself returning to this idea of human connection. We aren’t meant to face the “deluge” alone. If my previous work, Rain Deluge, was about the grit and determination required to survive the storm yourself, then “All of Your Dreams” is about helping someone else survive theirs. It’s about being the umbrella.
Sincerity Over Trends: The Prima Voca Way
As an artist, I use a concept I call Prima Voca: the “first voice.” It’s my internal compass that tells me to prioritize sincerity and imagination over what might be trending on social media. When I’m sitting in my studio, surrounded by the warmth of vintage instruments and soaring ceilings, I don’t ask if a song is “radio-ready.” I ask if it’s honest.
In the world of music production today, there’s a lot of talk about whether to use AI vocals or follow specific technical constraints. To me, those things are just tools. What matters is the heart behind them. Whether I’m using a cinematic synth or a raw vocal take, the goal is always the same: to capture a feeling. The Vulnerability of the “Work-in-Progress”
Sharing a demo is always a bit nerve-wracking. It’s like inviting someone into your house before you’ve had a chance to sweep the floors or put the dishes away. But I believe there’s beauty in the “work-in-progress” nature of life. We are all works in progress, aren’t we?
“All of Your Dreams” isn’t polished yet. The vocals might crack, and the arrangement might shift in the coming months. But that raw state is exactly where the sincerity lives. It’s where the “first voice” is loudest. I’m choosing to be transparent about this creative process because I want this to be a low-pressure environment for you, too. Moving Toward the Light
Ultimately, this song is my attempt to answer that central tension: How do we tell the truth without stealing hope?
We do it by naming the darkness but pointing toward the light. We do it by acknowledging the storm but building the shelter. We do it by being honest about the “Rain Deluge” but promising that we will be there to hold the hand on the shoulder when the wind picks up.
